DraftKings Inc. announced that its mobile sportsbook will officially go live in Missouri on 1 December 2025, following earlier approval by the Missouri Gaming Commission. The operator secured a temporary direct mobile sports wagering licence, granting it the ability to offer online betting services without partnering with a retail casino or professional sports team. This regulatory milestone positions Missouri as the 29th jurisdiction where DraftKings operates a legal wagering platform, joining Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Ontario.
Upon launch, eligible Missouri bettors will gain access to a full suite of DraftKings’ sports wagering products. These include in-game betting, same-game parlays, boosted odds, and seasonal promotional offerings. The platform will also feature a set of responsible gaming tools designed to promote safer betting behaviours. Greg Karamitis, Chief Revenue Officer at DraftKings, highlighted Missouri’s longstanding sporting culture and emphasised that the December launch aligns with peak activity across major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, NHL, college football, and college basketball.
Ahead of launch, DraftKings confirmed a partnership with the St Louis Blues, strengthening its presence within the state’s sports community. The broader Missouri market is also taking shape rapidly. At the end of October, the MGC issued temporary licences to seven major operators, including bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, FanDuel, Fanatics, PENN Entertainment, and Underdog. These approvals allow companies to begin testing systems and processes ahead of the official rollout date.
With at least nine operators having submitted applications before the regulatory deadline, competition is expected to be strong. Missouri law permits the issuance of up to 19 retail and 14 online sports wagering licences, creating a substantial opportunity for operators entering the newly regulated market.
