In a significant regulatory move, Light & Wonder has secured a gaming vendor licence from the UAE’s General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). Officially approved on July 18, this licence enables Light & Wonder to offer both land-based and online gaming solutions, including electronic gaming machines, table games, utilities, and leading-edge iGaming content, to licensed UAE operators.
CEO Matt Wilson described this achievement as an essential milestone, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering responsible gaming and premium player experiences. Light & Wonder becomes the 13th company to gain this pivotal licence, joining industry leaders such as Aristocrat, Novomatic, IGT, and Scientific Games.
