Jeremy Locke, the new president of the North American Gaming Regulators Association (NAGRA), is urging greater collaboration between North American and European regulators. Speaking at a recent conference alongside Britain’s Gambling Commission, Locke emphasised that shared efforts can strengthen market integrity, particularly for events attracting global betting interest.
Locke noted the rapid modernisation of the North American gambling sector and the need to coordinate integrity alerts across borders. While a universal regulatory model may not be feasible, aligning standards and sharing proven frameworks could streamline operations and save jurisdictions valuable time.
With North American regulators betting on European expertise, this alliance could pave the way for a new era of global cooperation in the gambling industry.
