Bally’s Intralot Announces Executive Transition as Nikolakopoulos Shifts to Non-Executive Role
Bally’s Intralot S.A. has announced a leadership transition that will see long-time executive Nikos Nikolakopoulos step down from his operational role as President of Lotteries.
The change forms part of a broader executive reshuffle aimed at maintaining operational continuity while redistributing leadership responsibilities within the lottery and gaming technology provider operating in the global iGaming industry and casino industry.

Nikolakopoulos exits executive role after two decades
Nikolakopoulos will step down from his executive position effective 16 March 2026, concluding more than 20 years of leadership involvement within the company’s lottery business and broader iGaming industry ecosystem.
While leaving day-to-day operations, he will remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director, allowing the company to retain institutional knowledge and strategic oversight during the transition.
During his tenure, Nikolakopoulos helped develop Bally’s Intralot’s lottery operations and expand its presence across the global lottery technology market and the wider casino industry technology landscape.
Sfatos expands remit across lottery division
Following the transition, Chrysostomos Sfatos will assume the additional title of President, Lotteries alongside his existing responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member.
The consolidation places the lottery division under a single operational leader, aligning product delivery, commercial execution, and operator partnerships across the iGaming industry and lottery platform segment.
The company said the leadership adjustment is intended to support strategic growth, operational execution, and long-term value creation within the casino industry technology sector.
