Palasino opens fourth Czech casino with Mikulov launch.
Palasino Holdings Ltd has opened Palasino Mikulov, its fourth land-based casino in the Czech Republic, expanding the company’s footprint in Central Europe. The venue, located in the town of Mikulov near the Austrian border, officially entered operation following a soft launch on December 18, timed to coincide with the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
The new casino features 106 slot machines supplied by multiple international manufacturers, alongside 10 gaming tables. In addition to gaming facilities, Palasino Mikulov offers a buffet restaurant and bar, positioning the property as a combined gaming and hospitality destination. Management has indicated that a formal grand opening ceremony is planned for early 2026.
According to Palasino Holdings, the Mikulov location was selected due to its popularity with both local and international visitors and its proximity to Austria, supporting a cross-border tourism strategy. In prepared remarks, chief operating officer Colin Chapman Stewart described the opening as a key step in introducing the Palasino brand to new customer segments while contributing to the local economy.
Palasino Holdings already operates three other land-based casinos in the Czech Republic, each offering a mix of slot machines and table games. Beyond gaming, the group also operates hotel properties in Germany and Austria, reflecting a diversified hospitality portfolio across European markets.
The company was listed in Hong Kong in March 2024 following a spin-off from Far East Consortium International Ltd. The Mikulov opening reinforces Palasino’s focus on regulated, land-based casino growth in established European jurisdictions, at a time when many operators are balancing digital expansion with selective physical investments.
