DigiPlus Interactive Corp. Reports ₱12.6B Profit as Revenue Grows 12% in 2025

DigiPlus Reports ₱12.6B Profit with 12% Revenue Growth in 2025 | iGaming News Today

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. reported ₱12.6 billion in net income for 2025, highlighting margin resilience under tightening regulation and rising competition. Total revenues grew 12 percent to ₱84.2 billion, supported by strong first-half momentum, while EBITDA reached ₱14.2 billion, reflecting disciplined cost management and operational efficiency.

For operators, the results underline that diversification and cost discipline are now core levers for sustaining margins in regulated markets, particularly as accessibility restrictions begin to directly impact topline growth.

Key Financial Highlights:

  • ₱12.6 billion net income for FY2025
  • ₱84.2 billion revenue, up 12 percent year-on-year
  • ₱14.2 billion EBITDA reflecting stable margins
  • ₱23.4 billion in cash with minimal debt

Commenting on the results, Chairman Eusebio Tanco stated that the company’s performance reflects “strong execution, scalable platforms, and sustained user engagement,” reinforcing confidence in DigiPlus’ long-term growth outlook. This confidence is further reflected in his recent share purchase increasing his stake.

Regulatory Pressure Impacts Late-Year Performance

The fourth quarter of 2025 saw a notable slowdown, with revenues declining 27 percent year-on-year to ₱17.3 billion. The drop was driven by stricter regulatory controls that directly constrained player access and reduced overall activity across platforms. As a result, both net income and EBITDA also declined during the period.

However, on a sequential basis, DigiPlus demonstrated recovery momentum. Net income increased 43 percent quarter-on-quarter, while EBITDA rose 52 percent, supported by rapid cost optimization and operational adjustments.

This performance signals a key operator takeaway: while regulatory shocks can impact short-term volumes, agile cost structures and platform flexibility remain critical in stabilising profitability, as reflected in DigiPlus’ earlier recovery amid regulation and competition.

Company Overview and Strategic Positioning

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is one of the Philippines’ leading digital gaming operators, with a strong presence across bingo, lottery, and e-casino platforms. The company has built a scalable digital ecosystem supported by proprietary content, including its co-branded digital games partnership with Manny Pacquiao, localised user experiences, and integrated payment solutions.

Its platform strength has enabled consistent user engagement and monetisation, even as regulatory conditions evolve. DigiPlus continues to invest in technology, compliance infrastructure, and product innovation to maintain its competitive position in Southeast Asia’s growing iGaming market, while also refining international initiatives such as its Brazil market rollout strategy.

Consistent Shareholder Returns and Capital Strategy

DigiPlus maintained its commitment to shareholder returns by declaring ₱3.8 billion in dividends, equivalent to a 30 percent payout ratio. This marks the third consecutive year of dividend distribution, underlining strong cash flow generation.

The continued payout signals solid earnings visibility while preserving capital flexibility for expansion and potential M&A activity. With ₱23.4 billion in cash reserves and minimal leverage, DigiPlus remains well-positioned to fund both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.

Strategic Expansion and Diversification

During 2025, DigiPlus expanded beyond its core digital operations through an investment in International Entertainment Corp., providing potential access to a land-based gaming platform in Manila.

This move positions the company to build an omni-channel gaming model, increasing customer lifetime value while reducing reliance on purely digital acquisition channels.

Additional strategic developments include:

  • Expansion of proprietary and third-party game content
  • Continued international market exploration in Brazil and South Africa
  • Strengthening of platform scalability and infrastructure

Focus on Innovation and Responsible Gaming

DigiPlus continues to prioritise responsible gaming and regulatory compliance through enhanced player protection tools, improved KYC processes, and expanded payment capabilities, alongside its recent expansion of customer care operations across gaming platforms. As regulatory pressure intensifies across key markets, the company’s dual focus on diversification and operational efficiency will be critical to sustaining margins and mitigating regulatory volatility.
