ELA Games secures multi-market certification to unlock regulated European distribution
ELA Games has obtained certification for nine slot titles across five regulated European markets-Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Romania and Malta-expanding its ability to supply licensed operators in each jurisdiction.
For suppliers, certification is a fundamental requirement for market entry. Securing approvals across multiple regulated territories at the same time helps reduce onboarding friction for operators and allows content to be rolled out more efficiently across existing integrations. It also shortens the gap between approval and actual deployment, which can be critical in competitive environments.
Certification expands deployable inventory for existing operator partners
The newly approved titles can now be distributed through a network of operators already active in these markets, including Betinia, Swiper, CampoBet and Don.ro. However, availability will still vary depending on jurisdiction-specific rules and operator licensing conditions.
This is less about launching new content and more about improving distribution. By aligning certification with integrations already in place, ELA Games increases the volume of compliant games it can deliver through existing operator relationships. Importantly, this happens without requiring additional technical work, making rollout faster and more efficient for partners.
Focus on regulated Europe signals scale ambition-but remains competitive catch-up
The five markets involved represent a mix of mature jurisdictions (Sweden, Denmark, Malta) and developing regulated environments (Greece, Romania), all of which maintain strict certification standards for RNG-based content.
Expanding certified inventory across these regions allows ELA Games to compete more directly with established slot suppliers already embedded within operator lobbies. Even so, certification alone does not guarantee visibility or strong performance. In saturated markets, factors such as game placement and promotional support tend to play a much bigger role in determining revenue share.
Partnerships provide distribution, but monetisation depends on lobby positioning
The company also points to integrations with operators such as Stake.dk, Tivoli Casino, RoyalCasino and Betsson as part of its wider European expansion – including its recent collaboration with Stake.dk to strengthen its presence in Denmark’s regulated market, as detailed in ELA Games Expands European iGaming Reach with Stake.dk Partnership.
While these partnerships provide access to player liquidity, the commercial outcome will depend on several key factors:
- lobby placement and recommendation algorithms
- localisation beyond compliance, including UX, volatility tuning and themes
- promotional support from operators
Without these elements in place, newly certified titles risk being added to long-tail libraries rather than generating meaningful GGR contributions.
Certification pipeline reflects broader supplier strategy
For newer suppliers, scaling in regulated Europe is increasingly about certification coverage rather than simply releasing new titles. The ability to reuse the same content across multiple jurisdictions is becoming a core efficiency lever.
This latest certification round suggests ELA Games is moving beyond initial market entry toward a more scalable distribution model. By increasing the proportion of its portfolio that is approved across regulated markets, the company can monetise existing content more effectively while keeping incremental compliance costs relatively low.
