The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has officially unveiled Mission 2030, a five-year global strategy that strengthens the organisation’s leadership in protecting regulated sports betting markets. The initiative arrives at a critical moment for the industry, with integrity risks and suspicious betting activities increasing worldwide.
Mission 2030 is anchored on three strategic pillars: advancing monitoring systems, enhancing collaboration across the betting ecosystem, and promoting proactive prevention measures. IBIA’s Global Monitoring & Alert Platform, which tracks over $300 billion in transactions annually across 80 operators and 140 brands, received a major upgrade in 2024 to enhance detection capabilities and support criminal investigations.
The strategy also emphasises the importance of cooperation among regulators, sports bodies, operators, and law enforcement agencies. With the rise of AI, cryptocurrency, and esports betting, IBIA aims to ensure integrity standards evolve alongside industry innovation. Complementing the strategic plan is a refreshed brand identity featuring six interlinked segments symbolising the partnership between key stakeholders.
According to Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, Mission 2030 not only celebrates the association’s achievements over two decades but also charts its course for the future. The initiative reaffirms IBIA’s commitment to transparency, trust, and collaboration, ensuring sports betting remains fair, secure, and sustainable.Mission 2030 positions IBIA at the forefront of global betting integrity, reflecting an evolving, technology-driven industry that demands collective responsibility and unified action.
