EveryMatrix has confirmed that Jonas Groes will officially assume the role of Group co-CEO from 1 January, joining his brother and co-founder, Ebbe Groes, in leading the organisation. This appointment marks a strategic step in EveryMatrix’s long-term growth plans, reflecting the company’s rapid expansion and its ambitions to strengthen executive capacity as it scales globally.
Jonas brings a distinguished professional background, including more than a decade as Partner within EY’s Nordic Consulting practice, where he led a team of more than 1,200 people. His work focused on major strategy, digitalisation, and innovation projects across government and infrastructure sectors. With deep knowledge of technology, finance and public-sector policy, Jonas’ experience aligns directly with EveryMatrix’s evolving business and its increasingly complex client base.
The company has grown significantly in recent years, tripling its headcount and expanding its partnerships with some of the world’s largest gaming brands and state lotteries. As EveryMatrix targets becoming a top three Tier-1 technology provider by 2030, the addition of a second CEO strengthens its leadership structure and supports the strategic execution needed for this ambitious trajectory.
Ebbe Groes highlighted the importance of absolute trust and shared vision when appointing a co-CEO, noting Jonas’ exceptional leadership qualities and complementary strengths. Jonas expressed enthusiasm for stepping into the role, emphasising the opportunity to build on the strong foundation established by the team. He will be based in Copenhagen, where EveryMatrix recently opened a new office as part of its broader expansion strategy.
This leadership transition marks an important milestone in EveryMatrix’s journey, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and long-term global growth.
