Playnetic Appoints David Mann as CEO to Lead Global Growth

playnetic appoints david mann as ceo to lead global growth

Playnetic has appointed industry veteran David Mann as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a pivotal leadership change as the B2B iGaming content provider accelerates its expansion across regulated markets.

The appointment takes effect this month and comes at a defining stage for Playnetic, which has rapidly established itself within the competitive supplier segment since its launch in January 2024. The company has focused on building a scalable content pipeline while securing regulatory approval in multiple jurisdictions.

Over the past two years, Playnetic has obtained operating licences in several key markets, including Malta, Sweden, Romania, Greece, and Ontario. These approvals have enabled the studio to distribute its content through partnerships with international operators and aggregators, significantly widening its market reach in a relatively short period of time.

Playnetic’s growth strategy has been underpinned by a consistent release schedule and an emphasis on immersive game mechanics. According to the company, more than 40 new titles have been launched since inception, supported by a back catalogue of over 100 games. This approach has helped the supplier gain early traction with established operators seeking compliant, scalable content solutions.

Mann joins Playnetic following a multi-year tenure at Swintt, where he served as Chief Executive Officer from August 2022 until December 2025. During that period, he oversaw the company’s commercial performance, international expansion, and portfolio development. Prior to assuming the CEO role, Mann held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Swintt, leading market entry strategies and partnership growth across regulated jurisdictions.

Earlier in his career, Mann worked in sales and business development at Wazdan, gaining experience in commercial negotiations and distribution strategy within the supplier ecosystem. His background positions him to navigate the increasingly complex regulatory and competitive dynamics facing B2B iGaming providers.

Commenting on his appointment, Mann highlighted the strength of Playnetic’s development teams and outlined plans to build on the company’s existing momentum. He noted that the focus for 2026 would be on scaling the business responsibly, strengthening partnerships, and delivering high-quality gaming content to operators and players worldwide.

The leadership transition comes at a time when regulatory scrutiny continues to shape market access and operational requirements across Europe and North America. For Playnetic, the challenge will be to sustain growth while aligning expansion plans with the evolving demands of regulated jurisdictions.

Mann’s appointment signals Playnetic’s intent to move from early-stage expansion into a more structured phase of long-term growth within the global iGaming supply chain.
