Games Valley Appoints Tereza Melicharkova as Marketing Director to Strengthen Global Brand Presence

Games Valley Names Tereza Melicharkova as Marketing Director | iGaming News Today

Games Valley has appointed Tereza Melicharkova as Marketing Director, reinforcing the aggregator’s push to accelerate global growth and sharpen its commercial positioning across regulated iGaming markets.

Melicharkova joins the company after senior marketing leadership roles at Relax Gaming, Swintt, Glitnor Group and Elantil. Her appointment brings more than a decade of cross-supplier marketing experience into Games Valley’s executive team at a time when aggregators are competing increasingly on brand visibility, operator trust and category storytelling rather than supplier list size alone.

The appointment reflects a broader shift in iGaming aggregation, where commercial success is no longer driven by integrations alone but by narrative, positioning and operator-side relationships.

Games Valley said Melicharkova will play a central role in strengthening brand presence, supporting commercial expansion and communicating the company’s differentiated approach to aggregation as it continues building out its casino content portfolio and live casino offering.

Aggregation Becomes a Brand-Led Category

The appointment comes as Games Valley accelerates efforts to differentiate within an increasingly crowded aggregation segment, with operators across regulated markets prioritising suppliers who can demonstrate clear commercial value beyond a content catalogue.

For aggregators, competitive positioning increasingly revolves around speed of integration, performance data, live casino access and the quality of the operator relationship. The objective is to win share from incumbents through clarity of proposition, not breadth alone.

This has become particularly important as operator acquisition costs rise across online casino markets globally. Aggregators are investing more heavily in commercial storytelling, content curation and partner-facing analytics designed to demonstrate measurable impact on operator GGR.

Games Valley’s broader strategy mirrors trends seen across the supplier landscape, where mid-stage aggregators are working to position themselves as commercially distinct alternatives to entrenched market leaders.

Marketing functions in supplier businesses have consequently evolved beyond traditional brand management, becoming closely tied to commercial enablement, partner story development and category-level thought leadership.

Suppliers Increasingly Recruit Marketers With Cross-Industry Experience

Melicharkova’s arrival also highlights a wider recruitment trend across the iGaming supplier space, with companies increasingly hiring marketing leaders who have already operated across multiple suppliers, geographies and product categories.

Cross-supplier experience often brings advanced expertise in commercial positioning, partner marketing, conference visibility and large-scale industry brand-building. These capabilities are now viewed as strategically important in a market where most aggregator pitches sound similar to procurement teams.

As regulated iGaming markets continue expanding, aggregators are under increasing pressure to differentiate beyond product specifications. Brand recall, commercial storytelling and personalised partner engagement are becoming more influential in operator selection and long-term retention.

The migration of senior marketers across multiple suppliers reflects how the aggregation segment is repositioning itself as a relationship and brand business, not just an integration layer.

Reem Signals Long-Term Brand and Growth Ambitions

Ariel Reem said Melicharkova’s experience translating product into operator-side relevance would support the company’s long-term commercial ambitions.

“Tereza is one of the most recognisable and respected marketing leaders in iGaming, and we are thrilled to welcome her to Games Valley at such an important stage in our journey,” Reem said. “Games Valley is building something very different in the aggregation space, and Tereza is the perfect person to help us spread the word.”

Tereza Melicharkova added:

“Games Valley has the energy, ambition and product thinking that make this such an exciting opportunity. This is a company with strong technology, a bold leadership team and a genuine appetite to challenge how aggregation is done.”

Reem has continued prioritising executive bench strength and product expansion since taking on leadership of the group in September 2025, following his appointment as CEO at Games Valley ahead of the company’s rebrand and regulated market expansion strategy. The company later added Robert Dowling in February 2026 ahead of Melicharkova’s appointment.

The company’s evolving strategy comes amid broader structural shifts across the iGaming aggregation sector, where regulated market expansion and operator consolidation continue reshaping commercial dynamics across multiple jurisdictions.

For aggregators competing against established incumbents, the ability to translate technology and content strength into clear operator-facing narrative is increasingly viewed as a competitive advantage, particularly as live casino aggregation becomes a higher-priority growth vertical.

Melicharkova’s appointment therefore represents more than a standard executive hire. It signals Games Valley’s intention to compete on brand and narrative as aggressively as it competes on technology and content depth across the global iGaming market.

The company is expected to continue investing in brand-led commercial strategies as operator competition intensifies across casino, live casino and regulated digital gaming verticals.
