Light & Wonder Showcases an Expansive G2E 2026 Lineup Spanning Games, Tables, iGaming and Systems
Light & Wonder is walking into G2E 2026 with one of its biggest floor lineups ever. On 21 September 2026, the company laid out the full picture: new licensed games, proven franchises and next-generation hardware, all pulled together across the entire business.
Leading it is Kong: Skull Island Unchained, a sequel to one of the company’s most successful licensed games. But the real story reaches well past that one title. This lineup runs from the casino floor into iGaming, social and charitable gaming, giving operators one of the clearest reads yet on where a major supplier is placing its content bets.
Light & Wonder brings one of its most diverse G2E lineups across every channel
The portfolio covers a lot of ground. Land-based slots, table games, iGaming, the SciPlay social casino and the Grover Gaming charitable segment are all in play.
What ties it together is franchise strength. Titles like Ultimate Fire Link and Huff N’ Puff turn up across nearly every channel the company operates in. Instead of splitting launches by segment, Light & Wonder is putting the same recognisable brands in front of operators, whether they run a physical floor, an online casino or a charitable gaming programme. The whole showcase reads as one connected pipeline rather than a set of separate product drops.
Kong: Skull Island Unchained leads a stacked licensed slate for Light & Wonder
Kong: Skull Island Unchained headlines the slate as a sequel to one of the company’s strongest licensed performers.
Around it sits a deep run of new licensed titles: Gremlins, Willy Wonka Wondrous Bonbon Voyage, fresh additions to the Wizard of Oz franchise, plus Back to the Future, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Wolf Man. These join the continued evolution of core franchises like Ultimate Fire Link and Huff N’ Puff.
Matt Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer at Light & Wonder, put the priority simply:
“G2E is all about the games, and this year we’re bringing one of our strongest and most diverse lineups yet. From iconic brands players immediately recognize, to franchises we’ve built and grown across our business, our portfolio demonstrates the depth of our content pipeline and the power of great games. Combined with innovative hardware and technology across our businesses, we’re giving customers more ways to deliver unforgettable experiences to players.”
That framing matters, because the hardware is built to carry exactly those games.
The new Firebird cabinet makes its global debut on the casino floor
The content lands across an expanded hardware portfolio: Cosmic Halo, Firebird and Lightwave Solar.
Lightwave Solar brings the bank-wide Lightwave experience into a single modular, configurable offering, featuring new content such as Huff N’ Puff Open House. The standout, though, is Firebird.
Making its global debut at G2E, the Firebird cabinet is anchored by a towering 55-inch main display, with an integrated 32-inch upper display and dynamic MLED fire wings. A new 3D audio package wraps around the player during game features. It is a cabinet designed to command attention on a crowded floor.
Light & Wonder advances its table games with NexLink and Multideck Ultra
Tables get serious attention too. NexLink, the company’s next-generation progressive system, is built for elevated jackpot, bonus and progressive content, with smarter operator tools and greater connectivity.
Alongside it comes Obsidian standalone, the newest addition to the Obsidian line. On the live side, Multideck Ultra advances the company’s flagship shuffler with proprietary AI card recognition, a True RNG, a modernised multilingual interface and modular internals for faster service. Obsidian Hybrid and Obsidian Virtual Pit round out a showcase that spans live, electronic and hybrid play.
Light & Wonder builds a more connected casino floor with new systems tools
Beyond the games and cabinets, the systems team is putting the spotlight on the floor itself.
The focus here is on more seamless, personalised and connected experiences across the property. The portfolio spans seamless wagering, AI-driven analytics and Dynamic Marketing, giving operators tools to better understand their business, engage players and connect experiences from one end of the floor to the other.
Light & Wonder extends its franchises across iGaming and SciPlay
The push does not stop at the casino floor.
Light & Wonder iGaming is presenting what the company calls its strongest games roadmap to date, led by the continued expansion of Huff N’ Puff, Ultimate Fire Link Triple Nova and Lion Link Fortune, alongside land-based titles reimagined for online players and an expanding portfolio of seasonal content. Its SciPlay social division keeps growing the free-to-play catalogue with Dancing Drums Revolution, Frankenstein Returns, Dragon Song, Ultimate Fire Link Blazing Dragon and Huff N’ Puff Open House.
Same recognisable franchises, now reworked for players online and on social.
Grover Gaming expands its charitable gaming lineup with proven L&W franchises
The charitable side gets its own moment too.
Grover Gaming, Light & Wonder’s charitable gaming segment, is showing an expanded hardware and content range including Kascada, Cosmic, Kascada Dual Screen and new tablet offerings. It also leans on recognisable Light & Wonder franchises like Ultimate Fire Link and Huff N’ Puff, pairing proven content with Grover Gaming’s expertise in the charitable gaming market.
What Light & Wonder’s cross-platform showcase signals for operators
Strip it back and the signal is strategic, not just about any single cabinet.
Light & Wonder is building its entire G2E presence around a tight set of strong franchises, carried consistently across land-based, online, social and charitable channels. That is a deliberate choice: depth behind proven brands rather than a wide spread of one-off launches. For operators planning floor and digital roadmaps, that consistency is the takeaway worth noting.
The full portfolio goes on show at Booth 1116, The Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, from 28 September to 1 October 2026.
