Bulgaria Launches National Campaign to Educate Teens About Gambling Risks

“You Are Not Alone,” a joint effort by Bulgaria’s National Revenue Agency and Customs Agency, is addressing the rising exposure of children and teenagers to gambling. Reaching over 6,300 students in the 2024/25 school year, the campaign blends live events, expert discussions, and even drug-detection demonstrations with trained dogs to emphasize the dangers of addiction.

Communications Director Anna Mitova revealed that many students have already encountered gambling content despite being underage. With over 45,000 individuals listed in the NRA’s gambling-vulnerable register, the campaign’s call for early intervention is more urgent than ever.
