Pennsylvania Gaming Revenue Surpasses $600 Million for First Time—iGaming and Sports Betting Lead the Surge
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has confirmed a historic milestone: the state’s total gaming revenue reached $601.8 million in May 2025, up 15.52% year-over-year.
Online casino gaming surged 33.76% to $232.8 million, with Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course leading all operators at $90.1 million. Sports betting revenue hit $59.4 million, with Valley Forge Casino Resort topping sportsbook charts.
Retail slots saw modest gains, while table games declined. Despite a soft retail segment, Pennsylvania’s strong iGaming sector contributed significantly to the $255.1 million collected in taxes.
