Entain Operations Limited, along with subsidiaries LC International, Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming, and 365 Scores UK, has filed a Part 7 civil claim in the English High Court against Oddsmonkey and Outplayed.com’s parent companies, Liquidity Trading Limited and Liquidity PA Limited. The case alleges intellectual property infringement, including passing off and trade mark violations.
The lawsuit also names Samuel Stoffel, founder of Outplayed.com, as a defendant. Matched betting, while legal, often conflicts with bookmakers’ interests by using free bets and promotions to secure guaranteed profits. This high-profile legal action may set important precedents for IP enforcement and operator rights in the UK iGaming sector.
