Stakelogic Expands Ontario Reach Through PowerPlay Launch via Relax Gaming

Stakelogic Expands Ontario Reach with PowerPlay Deal | iGaming News Today

Stakelogic has expanded its footprint in the regulated Canadian iGaming market after launching its full slot portfolio with PowerPlay in Ontario through Relax Gaming’s aggregation platform.

The agreement gives PowerPlay players access to Stakelogic’s portfolio of classic and video slots, including recently released titles such as Candy Links Bonanza 3 and Skyline Fortunes. The rollout also includes Stakelogic’s feature-led engagement products, Super Wheel™ and Spin to Win™ Jackpot, which integrate additional bonus and jackpot mechanics into selected slot titles.

The launch marks another step in Stakelogic’s broader North American expansion strategy as suppliers continue to target Ontario’s fast-growing online casino market. Since the province opened its regulated iGaming framework in 2022, Ontario has become one of the most competitive jurisdictions for online casino operators and content providers seeking regulated market growth outside Europe.

For suppliers, gaining visibility within established operator platforms remains critical as competition intensifies across casino acquisition and retention channels.

Relax Gaming Continues to Drive Aggregation Distribution

The partnership was facilitated through Relax Gaming, highlighting the growing importance of aggregation platforms in regulated market distribution strategies.

Aggregation partners have become increasingly central to supplier expansion efforts, particularly in jurisdictions where speed-to-market, compliance integration and content scalability are commercially important. By leveraging Relax Gaming’s platform infrastructure, Stakelogic is able to extend distribution without requiring separate direct integrations for each operator partnership.

For operators such as PowerPlay, aggregation models also reduce onboarding complexity while allowing casino platforms to continuously refresh game libraries with new supplier content and engagement mechanics.

Ontario has emerged as a particularly active market for aggregation-led expansion as operators compete to differentiate casino lobbies through exclusive content, feature-rich slots and enhanced promotional tools. Suppliers capable of combining large game portfolios with retention-oriented mechanics are increasingly prioritised by operators seeking longer player session times and stronger engagement performance.

The inclusion of Super Wheel™ and Spin to Win™ Jackpot reflects that wider industry trend toward feature-driven casino experiences designed to increase interaction beyond standard slot gameplay.

PowerPlay Expands Casino Differentiation Strategy

PowerPlay continues to expand its casino offering as operators in Ontario compete for market share in an increasingly crowded regulated environment.

Licensed by iGaming Ontario and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, the operator has positioned itself as a locally focused sportsbook and casino brand targeting Canadian players across online casino and sports betting verticals.

As competition intensifies, operators are placing greater emphasis on differentiated casino content capable of improving acquisition efficiency and retention performance. Feature-rich slot products, branded mechanics and jackpot integrations are increasingly viewed as tools to strengthen player engagement and reduce reliance on aggressive promotional spending.

The addition of Stakelogic’s full portfolio gives PowerPlay access to a broader range of volatility profiles, slot formats and bonus mechanics that can support content diversification across its casino lobby.

For mid-sized operators in particular, supplier partnerships remain an important lever for maintaining competitiveness against larger multinational brands with significantly higher marketing budgets and broader platform ecosystems.

Competitive Pressure Continues to Shape Ontario’s Casino Market

Ontario remains one of the most commercially attractive regulated online gaming markets in North America, but it is also becoming one of the most operationally competitive.

Suppliers entering the province face growing pressure to demonstrate not only portfolio scale, but also measurable engagement value for operators. Standard slot libraries alone are increasingly insufficient in a market where players have access to thousands of games across multiple licensed platforms.

As a result, suppliers are investing more heavily in feature-led mechanics, tournament functionality, jackpot systems and branded experiences designed to improve player retention and increase session duration.

Neil Tanti, Director of Sales and Client Relations at Stakelogic, said the Ontario market requires suppliers to deliver differentiated content capable of standing out in a highly competitive environment.

Lauren Holder, Head of Casino at PowerPlay, added that the operator remains selective about supplier partnerships as it continues expanding its Ontario casino offering.

The launch further reinforces the growing importance of regulated North American expansion for European casino suppliers as competition for operator distribution intensifies across newly regulated jurisdictions.
