DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has reported early signs of recovery as it adjusts to a more competitive and regulated iGaming environment in the Philippines. The Philippine-listed company said online gross gaming revenues have shown steady improvement in recent months, reflecting operational measures designed to strengthen platform resilience and enhance player experience.

In a market disclosure, DigiPlus said its recovery has been supported by continuity across its online gaming platforms and ongoing refinements to its digital infrastructure. Chairman Eusebio Tanco reassured investors that the group’s fundamentals remain intact, noting that there have been no material changes to its operating performance, regulatory standing, or overall business outlook.

A central pillar of DigiPlus’ strategy has been accelerating the migration of players to proprietary app-based platforms. The company said this transition improves security, accessibility, and control over the user experience. As part of this approach, DigiPlus partnered with PhilFirst Insurance to introduce a surety bond programme that insures player funds, adding another layer of protection as regulatory expectations around safeguards continue to evolve.

The group has also expanded its payment ecosystem, introducing additional cash-in and cash-out options through BSP-accredited providers Bayad and Pay&Go. Management said these additions reduce transaction friction and improve convenience for users in an increasingly competitive digital market.

Alongside operational changes, DigiPlus is strengthening its internal self-regulation framework. The company is reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure responsible messaging and is enhancing responsible gaming initiatives through education, self-exclusion tools, and professional partnerships.

These efforts sit within a broader roadmap that includes international expansion and diversification into non-gaming digital entertainment, positioning DigiPlus for long-term value creation as market conditions continue to evolve.
