Novig Expands IC360 Partnership to Strengthen Integrity Across Its Prediction Market Exchange
Novig has expanded its partnership with Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), adopting a full suite of integrity and compliance technology across its federally regulated, 21+ sports prediction exchange. The move brings market surveillance, prohibited trading controls, cross-platform self-exclusion and athlete-harassment protection under one compliance stack.
The expanded partnership was announced on 19 October 2026. It arrives as prediction markets edge closer to the betting mainstream, and as the integrity tooling that sits beneath them is still being assembled in public view.
Why prediction market integrity matters for a regulated exchange
Prediction markets are only as credible as the protections running behind them. Novig operates a federally regulated, 21+ exchange, and the expanded IC360 deal is aimed squarely at the trust problem that comes with any market where people trade on real-world sporting outcomes. The concern is not abstract: markets can be manipulated by those with inside information, and the people closest to sport can become targets of abuse when money is on the line.
What Novig’s expanded IC360 partnership actually involves
Novig is integrating IC360’s ProhiTrade “Bad Actor” technology to combat threats and harassment directed at athletes, coaches, referees and sports organisations. Confirmed offenders and fraudsters are added to a centralised, encrypted registry shared across participating platforms in the Bad Actor network, giving operators visibility to identify these individuals and restrict trading privileges for users who violate Novig’s zero-tolerance policy against athlete abuse and violence. Signify, a provider of social media protection that verifies and detects bad actors, is collaborating with IC360 on the initiative.
The company is also one of two exchanges currently using IC360’s self-exclusion website, selfexclude.io, a centralised hub where users can start a cooling-off period that restricts their trading across participating prediction markets rather than on a single platform alone.
How ProhiTrade and market surveillance protect the gambling market
IC360’s market surveillance and alerting engine identifies real-time anomalies and flags vulnerable or compromised markets, using proprietary dashboard technology and an investigative team to detect suspicious activity. Alongside this, ProhiTrade lets Novig check its customer base against a secure, encrypted list of covered persons, including athletes, coaches, officials and other stakeholders restricted from trading on specific markets. The aim is to stop anyone with insider information, or the ability to influence an outcome, from trading on restricted event contracts.
Novig’s responsible trading commitment
The expanded partnership builds on responsible trading standards Novig has codified directly into its exchange rulebook. Those standards set requirements across product design, marketing and incentives, contract review, monitoring and detection, participant protections, and governance and accountability, placing the obligations in the rulebook rather than leaving them to discretion.
“We are thrilled to have a partner like Novig who values integrity and compliance as much as we do,” said Scott Sadin, Co-CEO of IC360. “In adopting a full suite of our services, they are not only taking active steps to safeguard their users and platform, but elevating standards across the entire ecosystem.”
“Sports markets only work if people trust them,” said Jacob Fortinsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Novig. “That means keeping people with inside information from trading, giving users more control over their trading activity, and making clear that people who threaten or harass athletes shouldn’t be able to trade on our platform. The partnership with IC360 helps us address each area and build stronger protections into how Novig operates.”
What Comes Next for the Regulated Prediction Market?
The detail worth holding onto is that Novig is one of only two exchanges currently on IC360’s shared self-exclusion hub, which says as much about how early this category is as it does about Novig. The compliance layer for prediction markets is being wired in now, before the sector fully scales, and operators that build it in at the rulebook level rather than bolting it on later are the ones shaping what the baseline looks like. For a market still earning mainstream trust, that groundwork may matter more than any single feature.
