Paradise Co Posts Strong Casino Revenue Growth Nearly 10% in 2025
iGaming News Today observes that South Korea’s foreigner-only casino sector is entering a more stable growth phase, as Paradise Co Ltd reported a notable rise in casino sales for the full year of 2025.
Paradise Co announced that its total casino sales reached KRW900.5 billion ($623.6 million) in 2025, representing a 9.9% increase compared with KRW819.6 billion recorded in 2024. The year-on-year growth was supported by improving international travel conditions and steady demand from key overseas markets, particularly across Asia. The results underline the operator’s continued reliance on inbound tourism, as all of its casinos cater exclusively to foreign visitors under South Korean regulations.
Table games remained the dominant revenue driver throughout the year. Paradise Co generated KRW846.3 billion in table game revenue during 2025, accounting for the vast majority of total casino sales. The strong performance of table games highlights the continued appeal of high-value play among international customers, a segment that has been central to the operator’s business model. Management has consistently identified table games as its core revenue source, given their higher spending profiles and relative stability.
Slot machines, while smaller in scale, also contributed to overall growth. Slot revenue totalled KRW54.2 billion for the year, showing a clear improvement from the previous year. Although slots represent a modest share of total casino revenue, the increase suggests a gradual broadening of demand across gaming floors as visitor volumes improve.
Monthly figures for December showed mixed performance. Casino sales for the month reached KRW75.4 billion, down 5.4% from November but up 7.6% year on year. Table game revenue declined on a month-on-month basis, while slot machines delivered strong growth, recording increases both month on month and compared with December 2024. The divergence highlighted the variability in short-term performance, particularly for slots.
Paradise Co operates four foreigner-only casinos across South Korea, including Walkerhill Casino in Seoul, Paradise City in Incheon, Busan Casino, and Jeju Grand. The geographic spread allows the company to benefit from tourism flows into major cities and resort destinations, with Paradise City remaining a flagship asset due to its proximity to the country’s main international airport.
The 2025 results reflect the broader recovery of South Korea’s tourism sector following the pandemic. Rising inbound travel from Japan and Southeast Asia has helped stabilise casino volumes and reinforced the importance of international visitors to the country’s gaming industry. As travel conditions continue to normalise, Paradise Co’s performance underscores cautious optimism for sustained growth in the foreigner-only casino segment.
