TransAct Technologies Appoints Dana Loof as Chief Marketing Officer for Global Market Expansion

The gaming and technology provider strengthens its leadership team as it advances its software-led growth strategy

TransAct Technologies Incorporated has appointed Dana Loof as Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its senior leadership team as the company continues to focus on accelerating growth and expanding its platform-led technology strategy.

In her role, Loof will lead TransAct’s global marketing organisation, with responsibility for brand positioning, go-to-market execution, and supporting adoption of the company’s BOHA! platform and broader software-driven technology solutions across gaming, casino, and food service markets. The appointment reflects TransAct’s strategic emphasis on platform expansion and scaling its software offerings.

Loof brings more than 30 years of marketing leadership experience at high-growth technology companies. Her background includes senior roles at Evolv Technologies, Palo Alto Networks, Symantec, and Oracle, where she led global marketing initiatives and supported organisations through periods of growth, transformation, and market expansion.

At TransAct, her responsibilities include aligning marketing strategy with business objectives, strengthening brand and product messaging, and supporting revenue growth through focused go-to-market execution. Her appointment also supports the company’s continued evolution toward software-led solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, enhance safety, and deliver data-driven insights for customers.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO John Dillon said Loof brings deep experience in category creation and revenue-focused execution, and will play an important role as TransAct continues to scale its platform strategy and expand its market presence.

Loof said she is joining TransAct at a pivotal stage in its development, highlighting the strength of the company’s technology foundation and the opportunity to support growth across its core markets.

As TransAct continues to expand beyond traditional hardware into integrated software and platform solutions, the appointment of a Chief Marketing Officer underscores the company’s focus on disciplined go-to-market execution, brand clarity, and long-term, sustainable growth.
