Inside Amigo Gaming’s Growth Strategy: Scaling Across Regulated Markets and Building Operator Partnerships

Amigo Gaming Growth Strategy: Scaling in Regulated iGaming Markets in 2026

In a market where growth is often discussed but rarely explained, execution has become the defining factor for iGaming providers operating in regulated environments.

In this exclusive interview, Tetiana, Head of Account Management at Amigo Gaming, shares her journey from journalism to leading a key commercial function within a growing game studio. With experience across multiple industries and a front-row seat to Amigo Gaming’s expansion, she offers insights into scaling teams, managing operator relationships, and adapting product strategies to diverse global markets.

Q1. Can you share your professional journey and how you entered the iGaming industry?

Tetiana:

I originally studied journalism in Ukraine and later moved to Spain after graduation to start a new chapter in my life. I explored several fields, including accounting, real estate, and digital marketing, before joining Amigo Gaming about four years ago as an Account Manager. At that time, the company was still in an early growth stage with a small portfolio and team. Over the years, as the company expanded, I progressed into leadership and now head the account management function, focusing on team building, strategy, and client relationships.

Q2. How has Amigo Gaming evolved since you joined, and what milestones stand out most?

Tetiana:

When I joined, we had only around 10–15 games and limited market recognition. Today, the company has grown significantly, with a much larger portfolio, stronger global presence, and recognition across the industry. One of the most important milestones has been our entry into regulated markets through certifications and compliance processes, alongside key industry appearances such as our ICE Barcelona 2026 debut Amigo Gaming milestone.

Q3. What is your approach to building and managing a high-performing account management team?

Tetiana:

My focus is on hiring people who fit both the professional requirements and the company culture. Regional expertise is very important because different markets have different mentalities and business practices. I also prioritize maintaining a supportive, non-toxic environment where people feel part of a shared goal. As the company grows, building a team that can scale while maintaining quality service is critical.

Q4. How does Amigo Gaming ensure strong relationships with its partners and clients?

Tetiana:

We maintain close communication with our clients and treat them as long-term partners rather than just customers. We regularly discuss performance, milestones, and expectations, and we actively seek feedback about player preferences through operators. Understanding both the client and the end player helps us refine our products and strategies.

Q5. What differentiates your games in such a highly competitive market?

Tetiana:

Differentiation comes from a combination of design, user experience, and innovative mechanics. We pay close attention to visual quality, interface comfort, and features that provide engaging gameplay. Our strategy is to think from the player’s perspective and adapt to regional tastes. For example, we developed specialized dice-based games tailored to Belgium’s regulatory requirements, which helped us stand out in that market.

Q6. How do you balance rapid company growth with operational stability?

Tetiana:

Rapid growth brings both opportunities and responsibilities. We have experienced strong monthly growth, which requires careful planning to ensure we can support all clients effectively. Expanding the team, optimizing processes, and maintaining clear communication across departments are essential to sustaining this growth without compromising quality.

Q7. What does your typical day look like as Head of Account Management?

Tetiana:

My day involves coordinating with my team, clients, and other departments, as well as aligning with executive leadership on strategic goals. The workload can be intense, with many meetings and tasks, but prioritization and step-by-step execution make it manageable. Supporting my team and helping them navigate challenges is also a key part of my role.

Q8. How important is company culture as Amigo Gaming scales globally?

Tetiana:

Culture is extremely important. Even as we grow, we aim to maintain a collaborative environment where employees feel valued as individuals. Avoiding toxic dynamics and ensuring mutual respect within the team helps sustain productivity and morale, which ultimately reflects in our work with partners.

Q9. What role does artificial intelligence play in your operations?

Tetiana:

AI is a useful tool for optimization, analytics, and improving efficiency, but it should be used with balance. It supports internal processes and productivity but cannot replace human judgment, creativity, or strategic thinking. We encourage teams to use AI responsibly as an aid rather than a substitute.

Q10. What are Amigo Gaming’s key priorities and outlook for 2026?

Tetiana:

The outlook for 2026 is very promising. We plan to continue expanding in regulated markets as certifications and integrations progress. Our core focus remains on slot development, with potential exploration of additional formats such as crash games. Overall, the goal is sustained growth, stronger partnerships, and continued product innovation.
