iGaming Executive Appointments: A Run of Senior Leadership Moves Across the Sector
Companies across the iGaming supply chain have named new senior leaders in a short stretch of days, in one of the busier runs of executive appointments the sector has seen. The moves reach across social casino, B2B content platforms, lottery, hardware, finance, legal and regulatory functions.
Read individually, each is routine business news. Read together, they point to two things worth watching: leadership settling in at the top of major suppliers, and a cluster of finance, legal and compliance hires at a moment when operators are preparing for tighter regulation and wider market expansion.

Earlier in his career he held product and business-performance roles at King and worked as a consultant at Analysys Mason.
Matt Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Light & Wonder, said:

OpenBet’s Jessica Feil joins the new SBC Regulatory Advisory Board
Jessica Feil, SVP and General Counsel at OpenBet, has joined the newly formed SBC Regulatory Advisory Board. The board brings together regulatory affairs leaders, former regulators and industry experts to strengthen engagement across international gaming markets.
The board is chaired by Andrew Gellatly, former Executive Director of the AGCC, and will provide strategic guidance on SBC’s regulatory initiatives. A central priority will be supporting the SBC Leaders Regulatory Forums, beginning in Amsterdam on 19 April 2027.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said:
“We’ve assembled an outstanding group of people who understand regulation from different perspectives, and their experience will be invaluable in helping us develop something that makes a meaningful contribution to the industry.”
What does a run of iGaming appointments signal for operators?
The pattern only shows once the moves sit side by side. The supplier side of the industry saw change at the very top, with new chief executives installed at Light & Wonder’s SciPlay, Hacksaw Gaming, Scientific Games and, on an interim basis, Bragg Gaming Group. That is leadership bedding in at some of the sector’s largest vendors.
Running alongside it is a clear finance, legal and compliance theme. A new CFO at Booming Games, new legal leadership at Bluberi, Betty and OpenBet, and board-level regulatory engagement through SBC all point to companies building the governance and financial strength that usually comes before regulatory tightening and a push into new markets.
For operators, the takeaway is practical. Several of the companies they rely on now have new hands on the controls, and the coming quarters will show how those calls play out.
