VeliGames Secures Anjouan B2B Licence, Unlocking Global Growth in iGaming Platform
VeliGames, the aggregation arm of VeliTech, has secured an Anjouan B2B licence, allowing it to provide its content and platform services to operators working under that framework. The move effectively expands the company’s access to a broader operator base, particularly across markets where Anjouan licensing is widely used as a quicker route to entry.
More About Access Than Regulation
For aggregation providers, an Anjouan B2B licence is not really about regulatory standing. It tends to function more as a commercial access point. It allows suppliers to connect with operators that are outside Tier 1 jurisdictions but still need a recognised licence to handle payments and operate at scale.
In practice, this creates a pathway into markets where formal licensing exists, but the barriers are lower. For VeliGames, it simply means fewer restrictions when approaching this segment.
What Actually Changes in Practice
At a practical level, the licence mainly reduces friction. Onboarding Anjouan-licensed operators becomes more straightforward, and integration processes tend to move faster.
It also supports wider distribution across regions such as Africa, parts of Asia, and Latin America. At the same time, it aligns VeliGames with licensing structures commonly used by white-label and turnkey operators. This is less about adding something new and more about fitting into how these markets already operate.
Limited Influence on Operator Choice
From an operator perspective, the impact is fairly limited. The licence can make approvals easier and remove some delays during integration, especially for those already using offshore frameworks.
That said, it does not change how suppliers are evaluated. Operators will still focus on content depth, integration stability, and commercial terms. The presence of the licence may help open the door, but it is unlikely to be the deciding factor.
Continued Focus on Emerging Markets
The move points to a clear focus on emerging markets, where speed and flexibility tend to matter more than strict regulatory positioning. Anjouan has become a common option in these regions because approvals are faster, costs are lower, and payment providers generally accept it.
It also works well with white-label and scalable operator models, which are widely used in these markets. In that sense, securing the licence is more of a practical step than a strategic shift.
Positioning Remains Largely Unchanged
VeliGames aggregates more than 35,000 games from over 160 providers through a single API, along with its own content and engagement tools. The addition of the Anjouan licence extends its reach, but it does not change the underlying product.
Instead, it ensures the company can operate more freely in markets where this licensing route is already standard. In those environments, having the licence is less about differentiation and more about staying competitive.
