How GR8_TECH Sees the Future of Operator Growth in 2026

GR8 Tech 2026 Growth Strategy: Exclusive Interview, Sergey Ghazaryan | iGaming News Today

The global iGaming market is moving faster than ever.

Operators are facing stronger competition, tighter regulation, rising acquisition costs, and increasing demand for smarter player experiences.

In this environment, growth is no longer only about launching products. It is about launching faster, converting better, retaining longer, and adapting quicker than competitors.

In an exclusive interview with iGaming News Today, Sergey Ghazaryan shared how GR8_TECH is helping operators scale through technology, commercial strategy, and practical innovation.

Q. Can you share your journey into the iGaming industry and the key experiences that have shaped your approach to revenue leadership and commercial strategy today?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

I entered iGaming through a combination of product, operational, and commercial roles, which gave me a broader view of how growth occurs. I was not looking at revenue only from the sales side; I was close to the product itself, to execution, and to what operators need to perform. My time as Head of Casino was especially influential. It gave me a much deeper understanding of player behavior, product economics, and the commercial pressure operators face every day. That experience shaped how I think about revenue leadership: growth comes from building the right product, solving the right problems, and helping clients convert that into business results.

That is still how I approach my role as CRO today. For me, commercial strategy starts with product-market fit, operational agility, and clear value for the client. When those elements are aligned, revenue becomes much more sustainable, partnerships become stronger, and growth becomes easier to scale.

Q. As CRO, you operate at the intersection of growth, product, and partnerships. What core principles guide your decision-making when scaling revenue in highly competitive global markets?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

For me, revenue scales when product, execution, and partnership strategy move in the same direction. In competitive global markets, you win by being clear on where you can differentiate, how fast you can execute, and how well you match the realities of each market. So my decision-making is guided by three things:

1. Strategic differentiation. We focus on what gives operators an edge.

2. Operational agility. Speed matters, whether it’s launch timing, adapting to regulation, or responding to client needs.

3. Market fit. Every market has its own dynamics, so a tailored approach is a must if youwant sustainable growth.

I’m also very direct about trade-offs. If something won’t deliver impact, we don’t push it. If it drives performance, strengthens the partnership, and improves the client’s position, we move fast and execute properly. That’s how you build revenue that lasts.

Q. GR8_TECH offers a full ecosystem of sportsbook, casino, and affiliate solutions. What truly differentiates your platform and commercial approach from other B2B providers worldwide?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

A lot of B2B providers can offer sportsbook, casino, or affiliate tools. Our approach is to make those parts work together in a way that helps operators grow faster, launch faster, and adapt faster to what is happening in their market.

On the product side, that means a strong sportsbook foundation, flexible engagement tools, CRM, AI-driven personalization and risk support, crypto capabilities, and geo-specific configuration. On the commercial side, it means we are very focused on operator outcomes: faster market entry, better conversion, stronger retention, and more control over how the brand performs in each region. I would say another big difference is flexibility. Some operators need a full platform setup.  Others need a fast sportsbook launch through iFrame. Some need deep localization. Others need stronger crypto flows or better retention mechanics. We are set up to support those different growth paths without forcing everyone into the same model. So for me, the differentiator is that we combine a broad ecosystem with a very practical, performance-first mindset. The goal is not just to give operators more features, but to help them use the right ones to win in their market.

Q. Speed to market and platform stability are central to your value proposition. How do these factors influence operators’ ability to compete and succeed in today’s fast-moving environment?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

They matter a lot because timing and execution directly affect revenue. Speed to market gives operators a better chance to capture demand when it’s there, whether that is a big sporting event, a new market opportunity, or a shift in player behavior. Platform stability matters just as much.

Traffic spikes, live betting peaks, cashout pressure, and heavy matchday activity are exactly the moments when operators cannot afford slowdowns or outages. If the product feels unreliable, players leave very quickly, and it’s likely they don’t come back.

Q. Your solutions emphasize performance metrics such as conversion, retention, and uptime. Which KPIs do you believe matter most for sustainable operator growth, and why?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

I look first at retention, conversion, and platform reliability. Those three tell you whether the business is built to last. Conversion shows how efficiently you turn traffic into active players. Retention shows whether the experience is strong enough to bring them back. And uptime, together with speed, tells you whether the platform can support growth without breaking under pressure.

But I always connect those KPIs to commercial impact. I look at GGR growth, deposit success, bet frequency, and time to launch as well. If players deposit smoothly, place bets quickly, and return consistently, performance is moving in the right direction. And if an operator gets to market faster, they have more time to learn, optimize, and capture demand before peak moments.

For me, the most important point is that strong KPIs should translate directly into better player loyalty, stronger margins, and more predictable long-term revenue. That’s what sustainable growth looks like.

Q. Advanced technologies, including AI, automation, and data analytics, are transforming the industry. How is GR8_TECH leveraging these innovations to enhance both operator performance and player engagement?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

We use these technologies very practically. For us, AI, automation, and data analytics are there to improve execution. On the operator side, AI helps in three main areas:

● First, personalization: showing the right markets, offers, and content to each player, rather than pushing the same experience to everyone.

● Second, churn prevention: spotting early signs like lower activity, repeated losses, or shorter sessions, and giving operators a chance to intervene before the player drops off.

● Third, risk and fraud: using automated flags and anomaly detection to catch sharp or abusive behavior in real time.

Automation is also important in CRM and segmentation. Operators need to react quickly during major events, not manually manage every campaign. So we focus on tools that let them trigger the right message, bonus, or retention flow based on behavior, VIP level, risk profile, or even wallet history in crypto. On the player side, all of this should feel easy-going. A more relevant homepage, better-timed offers, smoother journeys, and faster responses to what is happening in real time. The technology runs in the background, resulting in a more engaging product for players and better performance for operators.

Q. Successful B2B partnerships often extend far beyond technology delivery. How do you build long-term relationships with operators that evolve as markets and business needs change?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

Long-term partnerships start with transparency. In iGaming, operators need a partner who is honest about what is realistic, what may not work, and what it will take to grow. That kind of openness builds trust early and creates a stronger base for the relationship.

The next part is staying close to the client’s business. Markets change, regulations shift, and player behavior moves quickly, so the partnership cannot stay static. We focus on understanding each operator’s goals, listening carefully, and adjusting with them as their needs evolve. That may mean improving performance, supporting expansion, or helping solve new challenges as they appear. The best B2B relationships are built around shared results. The job is not just to deliver technology and go live. It’s to keep helping the operator perform better over time. When both sides stay open, responsive, and focused on outcomes, the partnership becomes much stronger and much more valuable.

Q. Looking ahead, what major trends or challenges do you believe will define the next phase of global iGaming, and how is GR8_TECH positioning itself to lead in that future?

Sergey Ghazaryan:

The next phase of iGaming will be defined by speed, localization, payment flexibility, and smarter data use. The market is more competitive, more regulated, and more demanding than ever, so operators need to move fast without losing control. That means faster launches, faster product performance, faster operational response, and a much better understanding of what works in each market. At the same time, crypto is becoming a serious part of the payments conversation, especially for operators seeking greater reach and independence.

AI will also play a bigger role as a practical tool to improve efficiency, decision-making, and player engagement. At GR8_TECH, we’re building for speed to market, platform stability, and strong market fit. That includes deeper localization, stronger data and AI capabilities, and solutions like Crypto Turnkey, which give operators more flexibility without sacrificing control. We’re also focused on helping clients prepare for the World Cup.

For us, leadership in this market means giving operators a platform and ecosystem that helps them launch faster, adapt quicker, and scale with confidence. That’s where the industry is going, and that’s where we’re already building.
