Station Casinos Unveils a New Brand Identity Inspired by Its Original Bingo Palace Logo

Station Casinos Unveils New Brand Identity for 50th Year | iGaming News Today

A logo rooted in the 1970s, launched to carry a brand into the next half-century. Station Casinos has chosen its past to define its future.

Station Casinos unveiled a new brand identity today as it marks its 50th anniversary, introducing a refreshed logo and wordmark drawn directly from the company’s history in Las Vegas. The new identity takes its cue from the original Bingo Palace mark created in the 1970s, reworked into a more contemporary expression while the company launches a city-wide campaign titled “From Vegas, For Vegas, Always Vegas.”

Why The Station Casinos New Brand Identity Looks Back To Move Forward

The decision to build a modern logo out of a fifty-year-old one tells you where this brand believes its value sits. Not in reinvention. In continuity. The refreshed wordmark reflects the simplicity of the original era and the distinctive spirit of the first design, while giving the brand a timeless look for today’s Las Vegas and the decades ahead.

The design team pulled from the company’s own archives to get there. Vintage playing cards, casino chips, matchbooks and classic roadside signage all fed into the final identity. The most deliberate carry-over is structural. The iconic arch from Bingo Palace’s original roadside sign has been reimagined as a symbol of continuity, connecting where Station Casinos has been with where it is going.

What Frank Fertitta IV Said About The Rebrand

Leadership framed the change as evolution, not departure. “As we celebrate 50 years in Las Vegas, this new logo is a meaningful nod to where we began and the local community that has been part of our story from the start,” said Frank Fertitta IV, Executive Vice President of Operations for Station Casinos. He added that while the brand identity is evolving, the commitment to serving locals with value, hospitality and a place to gather remains as strong as ever.

Read past the quote and the strategy is clear. This is a locals-first business protecting the thing that made it, its relationship with Las Vegas residents, while modernising the packaging around it.

The Brand Campaign Behind The New Station Casinos Logo

The logo reveal anchors a wider brand push. “From Vegas, For Vegas, Always Vegas” debuts later this evening at Palace Station, where the company began, ahead of a drone and fireworks show. The campaign runs across broadcast spots, social media activations and an out-of-home takeover, alongside vintage photo booths at its seven large properties, custom merchandise and more.

Guests can buy into the moment directly. A limited-time commemorative 50th logo collection is available on $5 and $25 chips at the cage and Player Services, on complimentary Boarding Pass cards, and across curated retail items in the gift shop. The identity and campaign were developed in collaboration between branding and design studio The New Company and the Station Casinos in-house marketing team.

Future Outlook For Station Casinos After The Rebrand

The immediate calendar is set. Special fireworks shows follow on July 4 at six of the company’s large properties, extending the anniversary moment across the holiday weekend. What matters more than the celebration is what the rebrand signals for the next stretch.

A brand that repositions around heritage and locals is telling the market where it intends to compete, and where it does not. Expect the arch and the refreshed wordmark to filter across properties, retail and digital touchpoints over the coming months as the identity beds in. The real test arrives after the fireworks fade. Whether a fifty-year-old company can make “always Vegas” mean something to the next generation of locals is the question this rebrand has set itself to answer.
