GLI Strengthens Its EMEIA iGaming Team With Three Promotions and Five New Sales Hires

GLI Expands EMEIA iGaming Team With Promotions and Hires | iGaming News Today

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has expanded its EMEIA regional team, promoting three existing members to Senior Account Manager and bringing in five new sales professionals across Europe, Africa and the UK. The move strengthens the company’s client-facing bench in one of the most active regions for regulated gaming.

The expansion covers both internal progression and external recruitment, with new faces spanning Spain, South Africa, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia and the UK. GLI says the goal is to combine global expertise with local insight and improve the day-to-day support it provides to clients across the region.

Who GLI has promoted on its EMEIA iGaming team

Three members of GLI’s EMEIA sales team have moved up to Senior Account Manager: Catalina Rojas in the Netherlands, Miha Bizjak in Slovenia and Francesca Capomolla in Italy. All three are long-serving members of the business. According to their professional backgrounds, Rojas and Capomolla have each spent several years with GLI across client services and account management roles, while Bizjak has progressed within the account management function since joining in 2022.

Who is joining GLI’s B2B gaming sales team

GLI has also added five new sales professionals. Ben Lee joins as Business Development Manager in Barcelona, and Bradley Motaung as Business Development Manager in South Africa. On the account management side, Paola Di Ridolfi comes in for Italy, Luvuyo Manzi for South Africa and Iona Cunningham for the UK.

The spread is deliberately wide, covering Western Europe, two distinct Southern European markets, the UK and South Africa, which reflects how varied the EMEIA regulated gaming landscape has become.

What the GLI hires signal about the regulated gaming market

One recruit stands out for what the hire signals. According to her LinkedIn profile, Paola Di Ridolfi joins directly from Flutter Entertainment, where she worked on casino content and account management across regulated markets, including roles with Flutter Studios and PokerStars. Bringing in someone who has worked on the operator side, rather than only within testing labs, suggests GLI wants account teams that understand a client’s commercial pressures and not just the technical testing process.

The rest of the intake brings varied sector experience from account management, business development and client services backgrounds. For a certification partner, that mix of operator fluency and broad commercial experience can help shorten conversations and smooth the path through launch timelines.

How could this benefit B2B iGaming operators working with GLI?

For suppliers and operators that rely on GLI for testing and certification across EMEIA, a larger and more locally spread account team should mean faster responses and account managers who understand the regulatory and commercial realities of each market. The real signal here is less about the headcount and more about the shape of the team GLI is building, and whether this wider, more locally rooted bench translates into noticeably better day-to-day support in the months ahead.
