$611M Revenue, Profit Up to $142M: Super Group’s Q3 2026 Under Neal Menashe and Alinda van Wyk

Super Group Q3 2026 Revenue $611M, Profit Up to $142M Rise | iGaming News Today

Super Group (SGHC) Limited, the parent company of the Betway sports betting brand and the multi-brand Spin online casino, has reported revenue of $611 million for the third quarter of 2026. That is a 10% increase on the $557 million it recorded in the same period a year earlier.

Profit for the period rose to $142 million from $96 million, and Non-GAAP Adjusted EBITDA increased 8% to $165 million at a margin of 27%.

The results were published on 3 November 2026. They were shaped by a familiar tension for a group that runs both a sportsbook and a casino. The company said customer-friendly sports outcomes reduced revenue by approximately $40 million and Adjusted EBITDA by around $25 million, yet growth in the casino business carried the quarter. Alongside the numbers, the Board authorised a share repurchase programme of up to $150 million and revised full-year guidance.

How Super Group grew Q3 2026 revenue 10% to $611 million despite customer-friendly sports results

The core story of the quarter is the offset. Casino gross revenue increased 16%, according to the company. That was enough to absorb most of the roughly $40 million that customer-friendly sports outcomes took off the top line.

It is why the group still delivered double-digit revenue growth even with the sportsbook running against it.

Chief Executive Officer Neal Menashe framed the quarter around that dynamic:

“Q3 once again demonstrated the strength and resilience of our casino-led business model. Despite customer-friendly sports results, we continued to grow revenue and Adjusted EBITDA. Casino provides a durable earnings base that allows us to absorb short-term sports volatility. We also delivered strong profitability across Africa, and International made meaningful progress across product, pricing and technology. We believe that our underlying business remains strong, and we look forward to the opportunities ahead.”

Super Group Q3 2026 profit climbs to $142 million as customers reach 6.0 million

Beyond the headline revenue figure, profit for the period reached $142 million, well above the $96 million posted in the third quarter of 2025.

Monthly Active Customers rose 9% to 6.0 million, from 5.5 million a year earlier. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $602 million as at 30 September 2026, up from $513 million at the end of 2025.

By segment, Africa revenue reached $262 million, up from $224 million. International revenue was $344 million, against $328 million a year earlier.

Chief Financial Officer Alinda van Wyk pointed to the balance beneath the headline:

“Revenue increased 10% to $611 million and Adjusted EBITDA increased to $165 million with a margin of 27%. Customer-friendly sports outcomes impacted revenue by approximately $40 million and Adjusted EBITDA by around $25 million. Casino gross revenue increased 16%, while our long-term sports margin remains within our expected structural range.”

Super Group Africa Adjusted EBITDA rises to $88 million in Q3 2026

The segment numbers show where the durability sits. Adjusted EBITDA in Africa rose to $88 million, up from $72 million a year earlier, while International Adjusted EBITDA increased to $93 million from $75 million.

Those two gains are what lifted group Adjusted EBITDA to $165 million for the quarter, even after the sports-results drag.

Super Group approves $150 million buyback and revises FY2026 revenue guidance to $2.525–$2.575 billion

The Board authorised the repurchase of up to $150 million of Super Group ordinary shares during the period up to end December 2027. The authorisation is dated 30 October 2026, though the company stated it is not obligated to buy back any shares.

The buyback follows a period in which Super Group was already returning capital. The company paid dividends of $203 million during the nine months ended 30 September 2026, bringing its 12-month capital returns to $223 million.

The group also revised its full-year 2026 guidance. It now expects total revenue of between $2.525 and $2.575 billion, and Adjusted EBITDA of between $700 and $720 million.

Van Wyk linked the capital return to the balance sheet:

“With over $600 million of cash and a robust balance sheet, the Board has authorized a share repurchase program of up to $150 million, reflecting our confidence in the long-term value of Super Group while preserving flexibility to continue investing in attractive organic and strategic opportunities.”

On the company’s account, the guidance revision reflects the customer-friendly sports outcomes rather than a change in the underlying book.

Super Group releases 2018–2022 tax provision and recovers Austrian gaming taxes in Q3

The quarter also included specific items reflected in the Adjusted EBITDA reconciliation.

Following a favourable tribunal decision, Super Group released a provision previously recognised in respect of a tax matter for the periods 2018 to 2022. The company noted the matter may be subject to further proceedings.

It also recovered Austrian gaming taxes previously paid, relating to the periods 2014 to 2022, following a reassessment of amounts due.

What Super Group’s 16% casino growth signals for online gaming operators

For operators watching the sector, the read is straightforward. A casino-weighted revenue mix gave Super Group a durable base that absorbed a sports result which would have dented a more betting-heavy book. That is the resilience the company has built its messaging around.

The question ahead is how that balance develops as the group leans further into its International segment and integrates the Apricot sportsbook software it took ownership of in February 2026.

For now, the quarter shows a group able to grow through an unfavourable run of sports results, and confident enough in its balance sheet to return capital while it does.
