¥308.0B Revenue, ¥79.2B Net Profit: KONAMI Reports Record First-Half Results Under Kimihiko Higashio
Konami Group Corporation has reported record first-half results and raised its forecast for the full year. In its consolidated results released on 29 October 2026, for the six months ended 30 September 2026, total revenue rose 37.0% year on year to ¥307,975 million, and profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 70.5% to ¥79,238 million.
The company said revenue and all profit categories reached record highs for the first half of the fiscal year, driven mainly by the continued strong performance of key titles in its Digital Entertainment business. The results also brought upgraded full-year guidance and a higher dividend. The headline is powered by games, while for the casino and online market the detail sits in the division that builds slot machines and casino management systems.
Konami H1 revenue and profit figures in full
Total revenue reached ¥307,975 million for the half, up 37.0%. Business profit rose 72.2% to ¥112,088 million, operating profit rose 73.1% to ¥111,264 million, and profit before income taxes rose 73.1% to ¥112,896 million. Profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥79,238 million, up 70.5%, and basic earnings per share came in at ¥584.54, up from ¥342.92 a year earlier.
On the cash side, net cash from operating activities reached ¥85,223 million, a 62.5% increase, leaving the group with ¥373,626 million in cash and cash equivalents at the period end.
Konami Gaming & Systems revenue climbs 41.3%
Digital Entertainment led the top line, with revenue up 44.3% to ¥243,521 million. The sharpest rate of change, though, belonged to Gaming & Systems, where segment revenue rose 41.3% to ¥25,112 million and segment business profit rose 154.4% to ¥2,414 million.
Profit growing almost four times faster than revenue is the kind of operating leverage that points to a division scaling, not simply selling more.
SYNKROS casino management system passes 150,000 connected machines
Konami said its SYNKROS casino management system is now connected to more than 150,000 slot machines. It added that SYNKROS adoption has expanded across casino facilities as well as cruise ships operated by Carnival Corporation. On the hardware side, the company pointed to strong North American performance from its BOMBERMAN series and continued demand for its Solstice cabinet range, including the Solstice 49C, Solstice 27 and Solstice SuperNova, and it expanded Class II gaming machine installations in Texas and Washington.
A growing installed base of connected machines is what turns a systems supplier into a long-term floor partner for operators.
Konami names iGaming and Specialty Markets as growth priorities
In its outlook for the year ending 31 March 2027, Konami set out plans to expand in Specialty Markets, covering Class II products, video lottery terminals and historical horse racing machines. Alongside this, it pointed to iGaming, where it said it will expand the availability of popular gaming content across online platforms.
The company framed both as growth areas sitting next to new slot machines and new casino management features, placing its recognisable casino content more firmly in the online channel.
Konami raises full-year forecast and dividend
On the strength of the half, Konami revised its full-year guidance upward. It now expects revenue of ¥583,000 million, up from a previous forecast of ¥505,000 million, operating profit of ¥193,000 million, and profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥135,000 million. The annual dividend forecast was raised to ¥299.00 per share, against ¥221.50 paid for the prior year.
These are management’s own forward-looking figures and, as Konami notes in the release, are subject to risks including currency movements and competitive conditions.
What Konami’s H1 results mean for the gaming supply chain
The quarter that gives Konami its record headline is a games quarter, but the one that matters for the casino and online industry is the division underneath it. There, a comparatively small segment is converting revenue growth into profit at more than three times the rate, expanding its connected footprint, and being pointed at iGaming for the year ahead.
For operators choosing systems partners, momentum on that scale is worth tracking. Will Konami’s online push convert its SYNKROS floor advantage into a genuine iGaming position, or stay a sideline to the games business?
