Aristocrat has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of Michael Daly as senior vice president of business development and strategic execution. Based in Las Vegas, Daly brings a wealth of experience from across the gaming and technology sectors, including senior leadership roles at Catena Media, GAN, Bally Technologies, SHFL Entertainment, and Automated Cash Systems.
Daly’s career highlights include serving as CEO of Catena Media from 2021 to 2024, where he led restructuring efforts, introduced AI-driven tools, and delivered a net cash positive position despite industry challenges. His experience also encompasses digital wagering innovations, operational optimisation, and strategic growth initiatives, making him well-positioned to drive Aristocrat’s international expansion.
In his new role, Daly will focus on business development strategies, optimising customer journeys from onboarding through renewal, and cultivating strategic partnerships. He will also explore new market opportunities, contributing to Aristocrat’s diverse portfolio, which spans gaming machines, online social casino platforms, and real money gaming operations.
The appointment coincides with Aristocrat reporting a 5.6% year-on-year rise in net profit after tax and before amortisation (NPATA), reaching A$732.6 million. The growth was driven by strong performance in North America and gains across all business segments, highlighting the company’s resilience and strategic execution.
