The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) has withheld Isaac Dulgarian’s fight purse following his first-round submission loss to Yadier del Valle at UFC Vegas 110, amid growing concerns about suspicious betting activity. Before the fight, Dulgarian entered as a -250 favourite, but betting lines shifted significantly toward Del Valle in the hours leading up to the event. Analysts and sportsbooks flagged the pattern as highly unusual, prompting immediate attention from regulators.

During the fight, Dulgarian appeared hesitant and displayed limited offence before being submitted in the first round. Commentators including UFC’s Michael Chiesa criticised his performance, calling it “below professional standards.” Following the event, sportsbooks such as Caesars, William Hill, and DraftKings refunded wagers involving Dulgarian, a move that signalled industry-wide caution over potential integrity breaches.

The UFC confirmed that its betting integrity partner, IC360, is collaborating with NAC to review all related betting data. While no formal charges have been filed, Dulgarian was released from his UFC contract within 24 hours of the bout. The commission’s decision to withhold his purse underscores the sport’s increasing regulatory scrutiny, especially as sports betting continues to expand across U.S. jurisdictions.

This is not the first time UFC betting integrity has faced investigation similar cases involving fighters Darrick Minner and Tae Hyun Bang have previously led to sanctions. As regulators intensify oversight, the case serves as a critical reminder of the importance of transparency, data monitoring, and compliance in modern sports betting.
