MGM China Holdings has appointed Kenneth Feng as its new chief executive officer, effective 19 December, placing a long-serving company executive at the helm of the Macau-focused casino operator. Feng succeeds to the role after several years in senior management positions within MGM China and its parent group, bringing extensive institutional knowledge to the position.

Feng previously served as president and executive director of MGM China, as well as a director of MGM Grand Paradise Limited. He first joined the MGM China board in May 2018 as a non-executive director before assuming the role of president, strategic and chief financial officer in June 2020. In July 2023, he was redesignated as executive director and president. Earlier in his tenure, Feng also served on the company’s audit committee, contributing to governance and financial oversight during a period of significant regulatory and market change in Macau.

A veteran of the wider MGM group, Feng has been employed by MGM Resorts International since 2001. His career includes senior leadership roles in international operations, strategy, development, and finance, providing him with exposure to multiple regulatory frameworks and global expansion initiatives. This background is viewed as particularly valuable as MGM China continues to operate in a complex post-pandemic environment.

Under the terms of his service agreement, Feng will serve a fixed three-year term. His compensation includes an annual fixed salary of $1.5 million, alongside performance-based incentives determined by the board.

MGM China also confirmed the departure of President and COO Hubert Wang, who stepped down with immediate effect after 14 years of service. His responsibilities will be assumed by Tian Han, a long-standing executive with deep operational experience in Macau.
