iGaming Partnerships Roundup: This Week’s Deals Across Payments, Betting, Casino Content and Infrastructure
A busy week in iGaming brought a run of partnership announcements across the supply chain, from payments and hosting to sportsbook technology and casino content.
Taken one at a time, each is a routine B2B deal. Read side by side, the group is more revealing. It shows where companies are pointing their attention as the year moves into its final stretch: regulated growth markets in Africa and Latin America, and the infrastructure operators depend on. Here is each deal in turn, reported from the company’s own announcement.
Yaspa partners with Plannatech on US payments
Fintech Yaspa announced a partnership with Plannatech, the iGaming technology company behind the Betcris sportsbook in Arizona and Prime Sports in Ohio, New Jersey and Kentucky.
The agreement lets Plannatech offer Yaspa’s Pay by Bank deposits and withdrawals across both brands, giving players a way to move money in and out directly from their bank.
Adam Bjorn, CEO of Plannatech, pointed to the data layer as a deciding factor. He said: “Operating multiple brands across multiple jurisdictions requires more than simply adding another payment method. We saw value in Yaspa’s ability to combine payments with actionable data insights that can help us better understand player behavior across our portfolio.”
Justin Fears, Commercial Director, US at Yaspa, framed the appeal in operator terms. He said: “Sports bettors want to get money in and out quickly, without friction. Yaspa’s Pay by Bank gives Betcris and Prime Sports players instant deposits and fast withdrawals straight from their bank account, while giving Plannatech verified data it can use to keep players safe and make smarter decisions.”
By its own account, Yaspa has had a strong awards year, including Best Payment Solution Provider at the European iGaming Awards and Payment Solution of the Year at the SBC Awards.
