Weekly iGaming Roundup: Companies Announce New Content, Platform and Technology Partnership Deals

Weekly iGaming Roundup: Content, Platform, Tech Deals | iGaming News Today

A run of partnerships landed close together across the iGaming sector this week, spanning slot studios, a platform provider, a technology firm and the operators they signed with. One at a time, each is routine. Grouped by type, they sort into three clear buckets: content, platform and technology.

Several of the deals also take the companies into markets that are new ground for them. Alberta, Belgium, Peru, Serbia, Montenegro and South Africa all appear, alongside two fresh agreements built on Malta Gaming Authority supply licences. Here is each deal, with what the companies involved actually said.

Just Slots signs Wildz Group as its first major MGA licence deal

Just Slots named Wildz Group as the first major partner to go through the MGA B2B licence it secured in October 2026, under licence number MGA/B2B/1107/2025.

The deal puts Just Slots’ original titles, including Sugar Heaven, Dynamo’s Show and Shogun Skylord, across eight Wildz Group operator brands, among them Wildz Casino, Blingi and Spinz.

Nick Formosa, Head of Client Strategy at Just Slots, said the studio is focused on games with staying power.

“We’re focused on creating games that players want to return to, while giving operators content that adds genuine, measurable value to their offering.”

Sven de Waard, Head of Casino at Wildz Group, said the studio’s titles stand out in a crowded market.

“The studio’s titles follow recognisable themes but inject them with such interesting twists so that they’re impossible to ignore. We’re thrilled to have them on board.”

GiG picked to power River Cree’s Alberta iGaming launch

Gaming Innovation Group was chosen by River Cree Resort & Casino, owned by the Enoch Cree Nation, as the technology and platform partner for its expansion into Alberta’s online market.

The full-turnkey deal covers GiG’s iGaming platform, Sportsbook, Casino vertical, native mobile app, custom front end and its Data and Logic analytics and rules engine. River Cree is the fifth brand GiG is supporting in the province.

Richard Carter, CEO at GiG, said the partnership underscores the company’s momentum in Alberta and that its full-turnkey solution is built to help established land-based operators bridge into digital.

Vik Mahajan, CEO at River Cree Resort & Casino, said expanding into Alberta’s regulated online market is the next step in delivering strong experiences wherever guests choose to play.

The release also cites industry analysts estimating the mature Alberta market could generate between €440 million and €625 million in annual gross gaming revenue, a figure it attributes to those analysts rather than to GiG.

Kendoo enters the Belgian market through StarCasino

Kendoo launched its slot portfolio on StarCasino, which the announcement describes as the largest online casino in Belgium. The deal marks Kendoo’s first entry into the Belgian market.

The portfolio brings titles built on mechanics such as Hold and Win and jackpot-driven Pots gameplay to Belgian players.

Olga Mugliett, Commercial Director at Kendoo, called entering the regulated Belgian market an important milestone, and pointed to Belgium as a market where quality, reliability and a strong player experience matter particularly.

S. Maene, Director at StarCasino, said Kendoo builds around mechanics Belgian players already know and like, and that StarCasino is pleased to be the studio’s first partner in Belgium, with more titles to follow.

Wicked Games goes live with Soccerbet in Serbia and Montenegro

Wicked Games went live with Soccerbet, one of the larger operators in the Balkans, in a deal that marks the studio’s entry into both Serbia and Montenegro.

The launch makes titles including Transformers, BBC, Hamsterdam and Diner Dogs available to Soccerbet players, with more content to follow.

Sava Dokmanovic, Partnership Manager at Wicked Games, said going live with Soccerbet is an important step for the studio in the Balkans and that the team looks forward to growing the partnership.

Marko Jovanovic, Head of Online Casino at Soccerbet, said the operator is always looking for content that gives players something different, and that Wicked Games delivers a distinctive identity with solid mechanics.

R. Franco Digital expands in Peru with DoradoBet

R. Franco Digital, the Spanish provider and part of the Orenes Group, signed a collaboration agreement with DoradoBet to grow its presence in Peru.

The deal brings the provider’s portfolio, including Golden Clover 3×3, Genie Triple Bonanza and Diamond King Gorilla, to DoradoBet’s players, adding to the operator’s casino offering alongside its sports betting.

In comments translated from Spanish, Thiago Calmon, online sales director at R. Franco Digital, described Peru as a key market, said the teams had worked hard to make the collaboration happen, and expressed confidence that Peruvian players would respond well to the content.

Pateplay brings its portfolio to the South African market

Pateplay announced a partnership with Intelligent Gaming to bring its portfolio of games to the South African iGaming market. The studio framed the agreement as an opening into new opportunities as it continues to expand its footprint.

The announcement did not name specific titles, operators or launch dates, so the practical scope will become clearer as content goes live. What is confirmed is the market entry itself.

E-Play24 adds 17 Konami Gaming titles to its platforms

E-Play24 announced a partnership with Konami Gaming that added 17 new titles across its Sportium, Eplay24 and Betwin360 platforms.

The new content includes 5 Lion Festival, All Aboard Dynamite Dash, China Shores, Dragon Treasure Pearls, Mammoth Power and Tiger Woman, alongside further titles from Konami’s portfolio.

In a statement translated from Italian, E-Play24 framed the deal as part of its wider growth and its commitment to building partnerships with leading international providers. The company did not attribute the statement to a named executive.

Golden Whale partners with Coolbet on AI decision intelligence

Golden Whale announced a partnership with Coolbet, the international operator owned by SEGA SAMMY CREATION, to apply its proprietary AI and machine-learning technology to player engagement.

The announcement says the technology is intended to help Coolbet anticipate player behaviour and refine engagement strategies within the boundaries of regulation.

Eberhard Dürrschmid, CEO of Golden Whale, said Coolbet has already built a strong international business and that the technology is designed to help the team take it further through automated decision intelligence.

Tero Holopainen, Head of Product for Casino and Games at Coolbet, said technology has always been central to how the operator works, and that Golden Whale’s approach extends what Coolbet is already doing in a way the team plans to build on step by step.

What does a week of content, platform and technology deals signal?

The deals vary in size, from a full platform build to a single content launch. What links them is that they arrived together and split across three types of iGaming supply.

For operators, that means fresh choice on all three fronts at once: new slot content, a platform route into a new market, and a technology option for player engagement. The honest caveat is that these announcements describe intent and availability, not performance, and the results will take time to read.
