IC360 Brings ProhiBet and Bad Actor Technology to OLG in Landmark Ontario Integrity Deal

IC360 ProhiBet and Bad Actor Tech Deal With OLG Ontario | iGaming News Today

Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) has signed a partnership with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) to bring its integrity stack to Canada’s largest gaming market.

The agreement, announced on 27 October 2026, gives OLG access to IC360’s Integrity Monitoring dashboard, ProhiBet and ProhiBet Bad Actor technology in Ontario.

OLG is the provincial Crown corporation responsible for commercial lottery, land-based gaming and select online gaming in Ontario. By bringing in IC360’s tools, it is widening its ability to detect suspicious betting activity and protect participants in the province’s sports betting market.

Why OLG’s sports betting integrity move matters now

Betting integrity has moved from a back-office concern to a frontline requirement in regulated markets, and the identity of the adopter here is the point worth noting.

OLG is a government agency, and according to IC360 it is the first government agency in the province to adopt the Bad Actor technology. When a Crown corporation builds participant protection into its platform directly, it sets a reference point that others in the market tend to measure themselves against.

What the IC360 Integrity Monitoring dashboard actually involves

At the centre of the deal is IC360’s Integrity Monitoring platform, which aggregates global odds, anonymised wagering activity and referee and official data feeds into a single dashboard.

That consolidated view is what allows OLG to spot irregular patterns across a betting market that would be far harder to detect from fragmented data. The platform is positioned as the mechanism through which OLG expands its capacity to detect suspicious betting patterns and protect its sports betting offering.

How ProhiBet enforces prohibited-bettor checks across Ontario

OLG will also use ProhiBet as a centralised, province-wide list checker. The platform provides an automated framework to cross-reference active patrons against prohibited-bettor databases, covering athletes, coaches, officials and league administrators who are barred from wagering.

It runs on a one-way cryptographic hashing architecture, which IC360 says lets OLG enforce wagering restrictions while keeping user data private and secure.

Greg Sindall, Sr Director Digital Sports Product and iSports Product, OLG, said:

“Maintaining the integrity of our PROLINE gaming platform is always paramount. IC360’s robust monitoring and alert systems provide real-time feedback to ensure that our business and our players are protected additionally ProhiBet flags prohibited players, preventing them from wagering on our events.”

What ProhiBet Bad Actor technology means for athlete protection

The third element is IC360’s ProhiBet Bad Actor technology, aimed at threats, fraud and harassment directed at athletes, coaches, referees and sports organisations.

The feature lets sports leagues, teams and governing bodies tag and upload offenders targeting their stakeholders, whether online or in person. The system flags these individuals and alerts OLG to review and take action.

Signify, which provides social media protection to verify and detect bad actors, is collaborating with IC360 on the initiative.

What the IC360 and OLG agreement signals for Ontario gaming

For IC360, the deal extends its footprint into Ontario through a high-profile public adopter.

Ali Schempp, Chief Commercial Officer at IC360, said:

“Partnering with OLG marks a monumental milestone as we expand our footprint across Ontario.”

The wider signal is that a government agency moving first on participant protection may push private operators in regulated North American markets to treat the same integrity tooling as standard rather than optional.
