QTech Games Expands Aggregation Portfolio Through Live22 Partnership
QTech Games has expanded its aggregation platform through a new partnership with Live22, adding the supplier’s slots, mini games and arcade portfolio to its operator network across APAC and other emerging gaming markets.
The agreement gives QTech Games’ operator partners access to a broader range of Asia-focused casino content as aggregation platforms continue competing to strengthen their offerings in high-growth territories. The company has also been increasing its commercial focus on Europe in recent months through the appointment of Iryna Alabuhina as Head of Commercial – Europe, signalling broader international expansion ambitions beyond emerging markets.
Founded in 2018, Live22 has built a growing reputation across APAC and Asia-facing markets through a portfolio designed around localised themes, hybrid mechanics and player retention-focused gameplay.
Popular titles within the supplier’s portfolio include Mahjong Gold Lion, Kingdom Of Luck, Bloodmoon Amazonia, Space Quest and the Wonders Of and God’s Gambit franchises.
The partnership also expands Live22’s geographic reach into additional emerging regions, including Africa and Latin America, where aggregation-led distribution strategies continue gaining momentum.
Aggregators Continue Competing on Content Depth and Localisation
The agreement reflects broader competition among aggregation platforms seeking to strengthen content libraries across emerging regulated and high-growth gaming markets.
As operators increasingly prioritise localised player experiences, suppliers capable of delivering regionally relevant themes and gameplay mechanics are becoming more valuable within aggregation ecosystems.
QTech Games has continued positioning itself as a major aggregation platform focused on emerging territories, offering localised casino content, mobile-first integrations and regional support services for operators. The company’s broader emerging-market strategy was also recently recognised at the 2026 SPiCE South Asia Awards, where QTech Games won ‘Innovation of the Year’ for its hybrid retail-to-digital gaming platform infrastructure.
The addition of Live22 further strengthens the platform’s APAC-facing content mix at a time when competition for player engagement across Asia-facing markets remains intense.
Localisation has become an increasingly important part of supplier strategy, particularly in markets where player preferences, volatility appetite and gameplay expectations differ significantly from Western markets.
Retention-Focused Game Mechanics Gain Industry Attention
The partnership also highlights growing supplier focus on long-term player engagement and sustainable monetisation strategies.
Several of Live22’s games are designed around hybrid gameplay mechanics intended to balance volatility profiles, visible RTP rates and longer player session times rather than relying entirely on high-volatility payout structures.
For example, Mahjong Gold Lion operates with a medium-volatility profile and a reported RTP of 96%, aiming to create a balance between frequent wins and larger payout potential.
Across the industry, suppliers are increasingly exploring ways to improve retention metrics, average revenue per user (ARPU) and player lifetime value (LTV) through alternative game structures and gameplay pacing.
This trend has become particularly important in highly competitive emerging markets where operators are focused on maintaining engagement while managing acquisition costs and player churn.
Executives Highlight Expansion and Market Opportunity
Live22’s CEO said the partnership with QTech Games creates new opportunities to expand across emerging markets through access to the aggregator’s operator network and regional infrastructure.
The company also stated that its content portfolio is designed to support both player acquisition and long-term retention through a variety of gameplay formats and mechanics.
Philip Doftvik, CEO of QTech Games, described Live22 as a strong addition to the aggregation platform, highlighting the supplier’s focus on immersive gameplay and market-specific adaptations.
He added that the partnership would help bring Live22’s existing portfolio to new audiences across multiple emerging territories.
As competition continues intensifying across APAC and other growth markets, aggregation platforms are increasingly competing not only on content volume, but also on localisation, retention performance and operational scale.
