Kambi Expands Odds Feed+ Network With RETABET Group Partnership
An operator that already owns its platform just chose to rent its pricing. That’s the real story.
RETABET didn’t need a sportsbook. It already had one. So when the Spanish and Peruvian operator signed a multi-year deal with Kambi this week, the news wasn’t the partnership itself. It was the specific thing RETABET chose to outsource. The Kambi RETABET Odds Feed+ deal gives RETABET access to Kambi’s entire library of traded odds through a single API, while the operator keeps its own proprietary front end. Pricing in. Platform stays. It also continues a busy run of activity for Kambi across Spanish-speaking markets, following its recent move to extend its sportsbook partnership with BetWarrior across Latin America.
What the Kambi RETABET Odds Feed+ deal actually covers
Founded in 2002, RETABET is an established name in Spanish betting, with a footprint that spans both online and retail, plus a fast-growing omnichannel presence in Peru. Under the agreement, it plugs Kambi’s actively traded odds straight into its existing sportsbook platform through one integration.
Odds Feed+ is Kambi’s premium odds product. It ships in bespoke packages that can be adjusted in real time, and the pricing is sharpened by the billions of bets and roughly €17bn in annual liquidity Kambi processes. The company also points to a growing set of AI-assisted odds and low-latency delivery off official data as further sweeteners.
Why pricing is the layer operators rent
Here’s the thing most operators know but rarely say out loud. Running a genuinely sharp trading operation is brutally hard and brutally expensive. It’s a volume game. You either process enough bets to price precisely and protect your margin, or you pay someone who does. There’s not much middle ground.
That’s the logic behind this deal. RETABET clearly believes its edge sits in its brand, its markets, and its platform, not in trying to out-price a supplier that handles industry-scale liquidity. So it kept the first set and rented the second. It’s a different flavour of the same discipline Kambi has been pushing elsewhere, where the message to operators has been that launching fast isn’t enough and long-term execution is what actually wins.
What a platform head should take from it
For anyone running an operator’s technology roadmap, this is a live reference point on the oldest question in the business: build or buy. For years that was close to binary. Own everything, or license a full turnkey sportsbook and give up control of your product.
This deal shows the middle path hardening into a real option. Keep the front end that carries your brand and customer relationship. Outsource the specialist engine underneath. If you’re a mid-sized operator staring at the cost of building an in-house trading team, that’s a budget conversation worth having this quarter.
The caveat worth naming
Outsourcing pricing means outsourcing a core piece of your economics. Your margin performance now leans on someone else’s model and someone else’s liquidity. For many operators that trade-off makes complete sense. But it’s a dependency, and dependencies have a way of narrowing your options later. The operators who get this right will be clear-eyed about which layer is genuinely their edge and which isn’t.

Future outlook
Expect more of this. The unbundled sportsbook suits a maturing market where operators are sharper about where they actually compete. Over the next 6 to 12 months, the mid-tier, particularly names expanding into contested Latin American and European markets like Peru, is the group most likely to follow RETABET’s lead. Suppliers who can sell a single layer cleanly, rather than only a full platform, are positioned to win that flow.
The competitive read for rival odds suppliers is simple. The market for pricing-only deals is opening up, and Kambi just planted a flag in two Spanish-speaking markets it plainly wants more of.
RETABET made its call on where its edge lives. The question every operator now faces is whether they’ve made theirs.
