The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has unveiled Mission 2030, a comprehensive five-year strategy aimed at reinforcing global standards for sports betting integrity. Coinciding with its 20th anniversary, the initiative strengthens IBIA’s leadership as the foremost organization protecting regulated sports betting markets.
Mission 2030 is built around three strategic pillars: enhancing the Global Monitoring & Alert Platform (Global MAP) to improve the detection of suspicious activity; deepening collaboration with operators, regulators, sports bodies, and law enforcement; and advancing prevention through education and policy reform. The plan will guide IBIA’s efforts over the next five years while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to emerging risks driven by AI, cryptocurrency, and esports.
Accompanying the launch is IBIA’s refreshed brand identity, which includes a modern logo featuring six interwoven segments representing the key stakeholders in sports integrity, operators, regulators, sports organizations, law enforcement, athletes, and institutions. The new strapline, “Safeguarding Sports Betting,” encapsulates the association’s ongoing mission to protect both the integrity of sport and the trust of consumers in regulated markets.
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali highlighted that Mission 2030 represents both continuity and transformation. It reflects the association’s dedication to delivering world-class integrity services, fostering collaboration, and proactively addressing future challenges in the evolving iGaming landscape.
As the global sports betting market continues to grow, Mission 2030 positions IBIA at the forefront of integrity innovation, driving transparency, accountability, and cooperation across the ecosystem.
