Codere Online Becomes Official Betting Partner of the NFL in Mexico in Multi-Year Agreement

Codere Online Is NFL Mexico Betting Partner | iGaming News Today

Codere Online has been named the Official Betting Partner of the NFL in Mexico, tying one of Spain and Latin America’s leading online gaming and sports betting operators to one of the world’s most recognised sports brands.

The Nasdaq-listed operator (CDRO / CDROW) announced the multi-year agreement on 10 September 2026, and it stretches well beyond a single fixture. Codere Online also becomes Official Partner of Super Bowl LXI, Official Partner of the NFL Mexico Game and Official Sports Betting Sponsor.

Codere Online ties into the NFL’s growing Mexico presence

The deal sits on top of a live NFL calendar inside the country. Mexico is one of the NFL’s most passionate international markets, with more than 110 years of history there and a local office since 1998.

Regular-season football keeps returning too. Estadio Banorte has hosted five regular-season games, in 2005, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

Arturo Olivé, Managing Director of NFL Mexico, said:

“Mexico is one of the NFL’s most vibrant and important international markets, with millions of passionate fans engaging with our game year-round. We are pleased to welcome Codere Online, one of Mexico’s most established and recognized online gaming and sports betting operators, as a partner. Together, we will elevate the fan experience through innovative activations, exclusive opportunities and unique moments that bring supporters closer to the NFL.”

Super Bowl LXI and the Mexico City Game anchor Codere Online’s new rights

The agreement gives Codere Online four official designations: Official Betting Partner of the NFL in Mexico, Official Partner of Super Bowl LXI, Official Partner of the NFL Mexico Game and Official Sports Betting Sponsor.

As part of the partnership, it will serve as a sponsor of the 2026 NFL Mexico City Game, the regular-season matchup scheduled for Mexico City on 22 November 2026 between the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. The company will also be an official sponsor of the Super Bowl, which the release states will be held in Los Angeles in February 2027.

On the fan-facing side, the deal opens a platform for hospitality programmes, VIP experiences, activations across multiple cities in Mexico and official NFL merchandise opportunities.

Codere Online frames the partnership as a premium-brand move

Codere Online, launched in 2014 as part of Codere Group, has built its strategy around long-term associations with world-class sports properties.

The operator runs in core markets across Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Panama and Argentina, and it describes Mexico as one of its largest and most strategically important. Aligning with the NFL there is positioned as a natural fit between two established brands.

Carlos Sabanza, Director of Sponsorships and Public Relations at Codere Online, said:

“Partnering with the NFL, one of the most iconic and influential brands in global sports, represents an important milestone for Codere Online and reinforces our ambition to remain associated with world-class sports properties. This agreement strengthens our premium positioning while underlining our long-term commitment to Mexico, a market with an extraordinary passion for the NFL. Together, we look forward to creating distinctive experiences that bring fans closer to the game and further enhance our sports betting and entertainment offering.”

Codere Online brings NFL content and experiences to Mexican fans

The collaboration is built to put fans closer to the game. Codere Online will bring NFL-related content and experiences to Mexican audiences, in accordance with standards of responsible gaming, integrity and regulatory compliance.

That framing sets the tone for the operator’s activations, from the Mexico City Game through to Super Bowl LXI and the wider NFL season.

The NFL gives Codere Online a year-round platform in Mexico

By aligning with the NFL, Codere Online gains a platform that combines global scale, year-round relevance and strong resonance with Mexican audiences.

The company has described the agreement as a defining milestone in its growth strategy and the next chapter in its long-standing association with elite international sports. It expands the operator’s ability to offer customers premium experiences around the 2026 NFL Mexico City Game, Super Bowl LXI and the wider NFL season.
